The closer AEGIS moves towards the source of the transmission, the stranger it becomes. Long-range communications begin to fail, navigation systems produce conflicting readings, and entire sections of space appear to distort around the fleet. The signal that once guided the mission suddenly disappears without explanation, leaving only silence where certainty once existed.
Signal Lost marks the first warning that humanity is venturing into territory beyond its understanding, where every answer uncovers an even greater mystery.
